Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a General Maintenance Worker for a position in Fayetteville, NC. Responsibilities of the position include:Escort approved visitors throughout the facilityPerform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activitiesOperate gardening and grounds care equipment as requiredPerform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnelAssist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as requiredWork flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidaysWork overtime as required#MFCVETS Basic Qualifications: Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday. Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.Be available to work overtime as required.Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, and must have an Interim Secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen. Desired Skills: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
