General Maintenance Technician pay range based on experience : $16-$20/hr Garden Spot Village, part of Garden Spot Communities, is currently seeking a General Maintenance Technician for a Full Time Day shift working 8am - 4:30pm. Garden Spot Village, located in New Holland, PA, is a Retirement Community offering innovative options for residential living, and also wellness and healthcare services. The General Maintenance Technician will work for Garden Spot Village, performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks required to keep the buildings and facility in good working condition. What will I do in this role with Garden Spot? As General Maintenance Technician , supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities: Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed; sets up folding tables and chairs. Performs routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment (such as changing filters, equipment lubrication, and belt replacement.) Replaces light bulbs, conducts light bulb surveys and restocks light bulb carts as necessary. Hangs pictures, blinds, curtains, shelves, directional and room signs. Conducts Skilled Nursing bed checks, door latching and roam alert door checks. Assist Grounds Department with snow and ice removal. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What do I need for this role with Garden Spot? High School diploma or equivalent. Work experience and/or technical training in building-related maintenance work preferred. At least one year of experience or knowledge in plant operation and maintenance work. Ability to read and to write clearly. Shows initiative in departmental responsibilities and follows through on requests and tasks. Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used. How is Garden Spot unique?
