The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, possess experience in preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, and motion practice, and be able to efficiently resolve cases. Trial experience is a plus for this position. Duties:Analyze legal issues related to general liability cases and develop effective strategies for resolution.Communicate regularly with claims professionals, documenting all communication and progress on cases.Prepare pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions, in general liability matters.Conduct depositions of witnesses and parties involved in legal proceedings.Engage in motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions before the court.Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence organization.Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on general liability matters.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar and be in good standing.4+ years of experience practicing general liability law.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills:Experience in preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, and motion practice.Trial experience preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation for clients.
