Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) is looking to hire for full-time and part-time roles in our fabrication, packaging, CNC, printing, and studio/cabinet building departments on first shift at our Madison, WI facility to build new retail store fixtures for home appliances, custom cabinets, and point of purchase (POP) displays in our custom studio. This team oriented & success driven individual will be involved in the day to fabrication, assembly, and packaging of displays using hand tools. Candidates most successful in this position will have a proven track record of attention to detail, highly dependable and self-motivated. Experience and skills needed to be successful: Proven track record of self-management, attention to detail and accuracyCommon sense thinker who is mechanically inclinedStrong work historyAbility to read a tape measure & use basic hand toolsAbility to perform record keeping using basic math skillsAbility to lift 30 pounds and stand for up to 7 hours per dayPrevious manufacturing / production / assembly experience a plus, but not required- we will train!What will my schedule look like? This is an hourly role working on first shift 6a-2:30p with a 30 minute lunch. We can be flexible on start and end times as long as you are meeting business needs. Full-time hourly team members typically work 40 hours each week and during high business need, overtime is offered on Saturdays.
