Together under the Shyft umbrella, our teams drive new synergies that bring innovations to life on the road - for an experience that is safer, more satisfying, more rewarding all around.With 50 years and millions of miles behind us, we continue to charge forward - leading the commercial vehicle transition to electric, innovating across all our brands, and earning our position among Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Companies.What you'll do:Assemble sides and decking flat bedsAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassembliesVerifies specifications by measuring completed component Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resourcesKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairsMaintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed suppliesConserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsStart up and stop equipment.Feed or place items onto equipment for processingAssist with production line in factories.Sweep, mop, and remove debris.Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.Perform other miscellaneous duties as assignedWhat you need to be successful:Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)Good hand-eye coordinationAbility to read a measuring TapeFrequent use of handsProvides quality service by following organization standards.Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.Use basic hand tools such as screwdriver, pliers, etc.Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)Good hand-eye coordinationCommunication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety rulesPunctuality.Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessaryWhy The Shyft Group?We believe that when our people thrive personally and professionally, our business thrives.
