Responsibilities: --- Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated --- Assess the patients' overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients' teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments --- Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate --- Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration --- Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines Qualifications: --- Computer proficiency is desired --- Great communication skills and bedside manner are vital --- Advanced knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is helpful --- Two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required --- A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/ DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are required --- Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures About Company: Fill in about this company.
