Description Specialization: Cardiology Invasive Job Summary: TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking a cardiac advanced practice provider to join our employed cardiology group in Smyrna, Tennessee. Qualified Candidates: Nurse practitioner or physician assistant certification Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain Minimum 3 years hospital cardiac experience Cardiac consults in the hospital for two physicians Discharge cardiac consult and make follow up appointment for practice Discharge follow-up patients in the practice Full time, M-F, 8a-5p No weekend coverage unless choose to cover another location for an additional stipend. Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice CME and dues allowance About Centennial Heart at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center: 119-bed hospital that is part of the TriStar HCA Healthcare network of eight hospitals and 1,600 physicians that care for families in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky It is our mission and passion to improve the quality of life for our patients through excellent cardiac care We are part of a team of over 40 experienced cardiologists leading the local and regional area in specialized collaborative cardiac care Clinic conveniently located on hospital campus Average of 20 patient office visits daily per cardiologist Support team includes two nurse practitioners Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 STEMI PCI laboratory Cardiac services include cardiac CT scan, angiography, cardiac catheterization (femoral/radial), doppler ultrasound, EKG, echocardiography, MUGA, holter monitoring, intravascular ultrasound, nuclear stress test, stress echocardiography, tilt tables, transesophageal echocardiography and heart failure program Offering the highest level of cardiac service in Rutherford County, Tennessee and surrounding communities. Smyrna, Tennessee offers a quaint community with the conveniences of big city life. Only 24 miles from Nashville, and a two-hour drive to beautiful Chattanooga, TN, this growing community is home to almost 41,000 residents, and offers a vibrant community of businesses, restaurants and more.
