ROLE : Furniture Designer LOCATION : East London TERM : Permanent SALARY : GBP 30,000 to GBP 40,000 per annum Premier Group are currently recruiting for a Product Designer to join the design team of a company working within the design of furniture and other joinery related products. You will be taking a leading role on the projects and assuming a large amount of responsibility. The material in use would be mostly wood as well as design for 3D printing. Ideally, we would like you to: : Be skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software : Be able to create models / prototypes : Be technically minded : Have a product design/ engineering related degree : Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion : Strong Design for Manufacture skills Responsibilities: : Develop your ideas from concept to production. : Sketch ideas and develop concepts. : Create models/prototypes. : Do market research, visit clients and listen to their feedback. : Use all manufacturing processes. : View and review tooling trials : Quality test new products If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up: to: date CV as soon as possible.
