Ensure that the product is set up correctly and sufficiently clean. Ensure adequate gas supply. Replace gas tanks as needed. Ensure targets and melts are adequate to run the process being loaded. Perform test on standards to ensure coating thickness and adhesion are within specifications. Perform batch cleanings at proper intervals. Will be responsible for setting up and separating product. Keep area and equipment clean. Knowledge and Skills: :Working 100 Safely:Control and monitor multiple furnaces and perform other daily duties per instructions and procedures:Build, load, and unload furnaces to accommodate production:Communicate with peers, Team Lead, and Management on all aspects of the department:Drive forklift, use walk behind forklift or pallet jack:Prioritize work and troubleshoot problems:Completing daily TPM and department cleaning Requirements: :High School Diploma or GED is required:Three : five years of furnace, brazing and heat treating experience is strongly preferred:Three : five years of experience in a manufacturing environment:Ability to work weekly overtime as needed:Knowledge and hands:on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is preferred Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
