The New Albany facility is a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art plant with leaders who listen, act, and care! Come join the Kennametal team! Key Job Responsibilities: Load and unload fixtures with product into furnaces. Ensure that the product is set up correctly and sufficiently clean. Ensure adequate gas supply. Replace gas tanks as needed. Ensure targets and melts are adequate to run the process being loaded. Perform test on standards to ensure coating thickness and adhesion are within specifications. Perform batch cleanings at proper intervals. Will be responsible for setting up and separating product. Keep area and equipment clean. Knowledge and Skills: Working 100% Safely Control and monitor multiple furnaces and perform other daily duties per instructions and procedures Build, load, and unload furnaces to accommodate production Communicate with peers, Team Lead, and Management on all aspects of the department Drive forklift, use walk behind forklift or pallet jack Prioritize work and troubleshoot problems Completing daily TPM and department cleaning Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required Three - five years of furnace, brazing and heat treating experience is strongly preferred Three - five years of experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work weekly overtime as needed Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is preferred Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
