Funder I General Car Capital Technologies is a quickly growing tech company in the auto finance space. We are expanding our operations, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced Funder I to join our team! This position will involve the verification and funding of auto finance contracts. Job Description The Funder I role will be responsible for performing the following job duties: Handle inbound and outbound calls to consumers and dealers Verify stips and contracts for accuracy and completeness Review customer accounts in the funding queue and provide updates and information about the account Book and fund loans in accordance with Company policy Collaborate with other team members to improve customer and dealer service Proactively manage dealer expectations and trends Other tasks as assigned This position will be in the general Dallas area. This is an in-office position. Qualifications Previous customer service experience is required High emotional intelligence and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations Critical thinking skills and the ability to make appropriate judgment calls Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes Experience with required technology Passion for the work we do and the impact we are making Previous auto financing experience is a plus Fluency in English language is required; Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus, although not required As an employee, you will be eligible for: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Flexible Spending Account (medical & dependent care) Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check including credit report and past employment references.
