Proven track record of leading a team is essential. Job Description An exciting opportunity for a Fund Accounting, Assistant Manager to join a leading Investment firm. You will extensive experience in Fund Accounting or Financial Reporting. Proven track record of leading a team is essential. Essential Skills/Experience: Experience working within an Oversight team with experience in either Fund Accounting or Financial Reporting is essential Experience of preparing and presenting papers to Boards Working knowledge of Custody, TA, and Depositary/Responsible Entity functions is a requirement Have a working knowledge of investment level taxes capital gains/ transactions taxes/ withholdings taxes. Ability to manage errors or issues effectively and efficiently, preparing impact backssments and incident reports as required. Strong relationship management skills, ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external Core Responsibilities: Assist with the management of all aspects of the team tasks Provide effective management and leadership of any direct and indirect reports Work closely with auditors, depositary, third party administrators and other external parties to ensure service engagement and delivery is of a high standard Support manager in presenting to and answering queries from regulators, Boards, committees, senior management, and other stakeholders as required. Working with manager to review and test the team’s policies and procedures Ensure appropriate policies, procedures and oversight controls are fit for purpose and in place, which allow the correct calculation of NAV by the administrator and accurate reporting to clients.
