Position Summary: Provide SAP support, improvements and maintenance. In addition, provide support for new systems and processes. Primary Responsibilities: 1. SAP Development, Improvement, and Support: 65% Apply business process knowledge and SAP experience to successfully resolve and implement changes to the SAP Production environment Provide improvements, assistance, and participation with the technology; designing, development, reporting, and implementation of new functionality in SAP Assist MRO team in solving errors relative to SD processes within SAP Use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting to MRO Management team Provide system integration assistance and regression testing Work with all subsidiaries as needed regarding SAP cross dock, order issues and/or open concerns 2. Processes and Compliance: 20% Methodically review work instructions and procedures in order to update and recommend streamlined solutions based on department objectives Responsible for digital filing of the Work Instructions and Procedure Documentation 3. Training and Systems Support: 15% Provide mentoring to SAP users as well as formal and on the job training Support flow between Front Office Orders, Material Movements, MRO SAP System Processes as well as backup support S&S SAP/Data Team Lead or assist on assigned projects when applicable Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Required: Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience (i.e. Computer Science, Business and Engineering, etc.) directly tied to SAP support. Experience: Required: Minimum 3 years in business analytics and/or statistics experience Minimum 3 years in Sales and/or Customer Service Minimum 5 years of SAP experience (direct experience in SD/MM/PP modules) Licensure/Certifications: Required: N/A Preferred: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification PDCA trained MM and PP certifications Evidence of advanced SAP Training Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required: Experienced in formal testing methodologies, processes and tools required for testing functionality of programs. Should clearly understand the value of unit, integration, system and regression testing. Must have experience analyzing large data sets with the ability to draw strategic insights from analysis and effectively summarize and present findings to management. Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Requires ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Technical Systems Proficiency: Required: MS Office skills SAP CAC or ability to obtain a CAC Travel Required: 5% Domestic and International Citizenship: Authorized to Work in the US Clearance: None Decision Making, Complexity: Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy Works under general supervision Must be fully autonomous in daily activities Collaborate with various organizations, both internal and external to AHI Refers to policies and practices for guidance Solves routine problems of limited/moderate scope and complexity Organizational information: This position is a direct report to the Sr. Director MRO. Direct Reports: Exempt: 0 Non-exempt: 0 Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success: Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization Nature of Contacts: Contacts are primarily with the SR Director and other leaders and personnel in the MRO organization. Will have contact with other internal groups Moderate Communication on a periodic basis with internal and external parties Physical Requirements: Onsite: 95% Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. [Daily] Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. [Daily] Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. [Daily] Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. [Daily] Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. [Daily] Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. [Daily] Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. [Weekly] Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. [Daily] Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. [Daily] Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. [Daily] Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. [5%] Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
