Functional Analyst - Secret Clearance Required

cFocus Software is seeking a Functional Analyst to join our program supporting USTRANSCOM at Scott Air Force base. This position requires an active Secret clearance and must meet 8570 requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a computer, engineering, or science field. Active Secret Clearance 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE) Thorough understanding of USTRANSCOM, SDDC and/or DoD business systems and industry requirements. 5+ years of Experience with Remedy. 5+ years of experience supporting the USTRANSCOM directed GDSS migration to a commercial Cloud environment and utilize a DevSecOps paradigm. For Cloud Integration, provide functional expertise to support the integration into the Cloud. 5+ years of experience supporting and conducting on-demand validation events as requested by the GDSS PMO, e.g., end-to-end messaging validation with external interface partners and aircraft, patches, configuration changes or GDSS. Duties: Provide system/application and database access account management services for GDSS and all associated components (e.g., Denodo). Support GDSS Fielding and Operational validation and maintenance activities (e.g., Reports Information Database Library (RIDL), Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) addresses and External Interface (EI) resources). Develop and submit a Validation Plan (A003) for each software release that outlines how the newly fielded software will be validated before users and interfaces are switched to the new release. For each Validation Plan (A003), include a schedule that provides a comprehensive view of the validation tasks and timeline for each environment. For each Validation schedule, meet the timeline in the GDSS release fielding plan which will be provided by the Government with each release. Conduct release validation utilizing the approved Validation Plan (A003) in coordination with the GDSS PMO. Prepare and submit a Validation Report (A004) after each software release and operational validation. Review Monitoring and Management of GDSS MCS activities on an annual basis as mission (interface) partners migrate from classified and unclassified MEIS 3 to MEIS 4. Perform Monitoring and Management of Denodo Platform and future mission partner interfaces for the Denodo users and interface partners which include monitoring dashboards and validating Application Program Interfaces (APIs) as needed to support user/interface questions and tickets. Evaluate (develop/create) innovative ways to revolutionize, modernize, improve and implement all aspects of function help desk operations supporting the MAF C2 Family of Systems to include but not limited to the following: Employ process automation, e.g. Business Process Automation (BPA) to streamline help desk operations, produce real-time FHD reports and dashboards, and promptly handle customer inquiries, produce and support video/vignettes for user education and training on system updates as released, implement live Chatbot technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance user self-help platforms and other FHD processes, optimize account management processes to meet latest industry standards and Financial Information System Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) requirements, enhance customer notification on status of tickets for user transparency, and evaluate new methods and procedures to plan, validate operations, and validate software.
