A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TELLER As a Teller, you cheerfully greet current and prospective members, taking the time to really listen to their needs. You always make a great first impression and enjoy nurturing relationships with our members. With professionalism, you help process transactions and solve problems, as well as provide information about our credit union and the banking services we offer. You process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with efficiency and accuracy. You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the financial needs of our members. During each shift, you maintain a cash drawer with all proper controls, ensuring that it balances at the end. You take pride in contributing to our success by treating those you serve as people, not numbers! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TELLER Good math skills Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office software Good typing and data entry skills Exceptional customer service skills Are you willing to jump right in and learn? Do you have a positive and caring attitude? Are you conscientious and attentive to detail? Are you discreet with confidential information? Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you honest and trustworthy? If so, you might just be perfect for this entry-level Teller position! FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE This full-time entry-level banking position works 40 hours per week . You would need to be available for scheduling Mondays - Fridays between 8:30 AM and 6:15 PM (8:00 AM on some Tuesdays) and Saturdays between 8:45 AM and 1:15 PM .
