OPEN POSITION:Physician - Orthopedic SurgeonSCHEDULE:- Full-Time- Monday to Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm- Limited On-CallCOMPENSATION:- $500,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience- Graduated Bonus Plan- Relocation Allowance- Occurrence-Based Malpractice Coverage- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance- 26 Days Paid Time Off- 3 Days CME Paid Time Off- $6,000 Annual Allowance for CMEs + Professional Expenses- 403b- Full Details NegotiableLOCATION:New Smyrna Beach, FloridaCOMPANY PROFILE:This large medical group employs more than 400 providers (physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners) across multiple locations in several states, and more than 25 specialty service lines. They are currently seeking new physicians for a location in New Smyrna Beach due to growth.POSITION DESCRIPTION:The orthopedic surgeon will have a strong referral base and access to supporting specialists, allowing for a robust patient base and provision of a strong continuum of care. The position will have direct access to the most advanced orthopedic treatment options and cutting-edge rehabilitation plans available. The practice is composed of several subspecialized orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians, providing a connected system of care.The average number of patients per day varies by need and physician preference. Visits and surgeries are scheduled based on the estimated length of time needed to ensure optimal attention for each patient.Physicians work with dedicated clinical assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during the visits as needed.
