Overview: Performs mammography examinations, diagnostic studies, and needle localizations. Evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed. Job Responsbilites: Patient & Room Preparation: This task includes entering/verfiying patient data into PACS and other appropriate computer systems as necessary. Obtain Mammographic analog/digital images as well as other images. Conduct labeling of all mammographic/radiographic images Maintain all necessary records etc. logging patient data in log book and perform tasks relasted to MQSA Assist physician during biopsy procedures as needed Education/Training Requirements: Assocaites Degree (Preferred) / High School Diploma/ GED ( Required) Satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and meets the requirements for certification by the ARRT Licensed by the State of New York Department: Radiology Bargaining Unit: 1199 Campus: MOSES Employment Status: Regular Full-Time Address: 3050 Corlear Avenue, Riverdale Shift: Day Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Req ID: 219178 Salary Range/Pay Rate: $49.48 For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
