Batteries Plus Bulbs on Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Fl is hiring a / Device Repair Technician/Customer Service. The ideal candidates will be comfortable with small electronic device repair, exhibit retail sales skills, possess excellent customer service and relationship building skills, demonstrate a basic understanding of electronics, and possess an ability to communicate with management.In addition to the repair technician responsibilities, the successful candidates will also be a team member responsible for selling of products associated with the Batteries Plus Bulbs operation. Retail Sales Associate - Customer Service Duties: Asset retail and commercial customers in the purchases of batteries and light bulbs. (training provided) Replace batteries in vehicles, watches, key fobs, cell phones, and more. (training provided). Greet Customers, determine needs and answer questions.. Suggest sell add-ons items, participate in retail store and commercial sales.. Ask questions to identify potential commercial sales.. Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions.. Answer phone, ensuring messages are relayed.. Function as a team player.. Demonstrate a customer first mentality. Device Repair Duties . Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices as needed.. Receive, pack and ship these devices.. Maintain proper inventory.. HS diploma/equivalent plus 6+ months of previous device repair experience of customer service experience preferred.. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance.. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.. Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written. Strong customer service focus. . Working conditions are typical for a retail environment.. The position requires the employee to regularly use hands and handle or touch electronic products. The position also requires the employee to regularly use a computer and other equipment.. The position requires lifting 10 - 20# on a regular basis, 50# on an occasional basis, and mor than 50# on an infrequent basis.
