Full Charge Bookkeeper (Onsite) We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a civil engineering firm. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, preparing financial reports and month-end close. Location: Corona, CA (Onsite) Hours: 6am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday This job expects to pay around $25 - 30 per hour plus benefits. What You Will Do: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Prepare and record journal entries for various financial transactions. Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and adjusting entries. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Utilize Ariba for billing and invoicing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Oversee business licenses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage fleet and auto leases, including tracking expenses, lease agreements, and maintenance schedules. Administer rental properties, both commercial and residential, including rent collection, lease agreements, and property maintenance. Collaborate with the external CPA to provide necessary financial information and support for audits, tax filings, and other financial activities. What Gets You The Job: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Ariba. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices. CPA or additional accounting certifications/licenses are a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
