BSG is the premier leader in contracted housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services to medical and long-term health care facilities. We are looking for Dietary Cooks. The role of the Dietary Cook is described in detail below and must be performed in a manner that sufficiently meets client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by BSG Maintenance location based on client requirements and business needs. Cook · Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties· Stock and label ingredients for convenient accessibility.· Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking the meals· Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.· Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, desserts etc.· Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.· Ensure food and other items are stored properly· Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines· Perform other kitchen duties as assigned We Will Train You: · No Experience Required· Paid - On The Job Paid Training. Wage Based on Experience Qualifications: · Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other employees.· Flexibility & ability to adapt to changing needs each day.· Ability to follow written and oral instructions.· Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks.· Must be prompt and adhere to scheduled hours.BSG Maintenance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Must pass caregiver background check.**Please note we work in healthcare facilities; vaccination requirements will be discussed during interview process.
