Our top goal is the preservation and dissemination of the martial arts fundamentals and to maximize the healthful physical, mental and spiritual benefits of participating in our many varied programs. We are seeking to hire an enthusiastic, positive-minded associate to operate our front desk! Experience : One year of general retail and customer service is preferred. Compensation: $14.35 - $15.00 per hour DOE General duties include: Managing online, phone and in-person class reservations. Welcoming guest and students, and providing studio and class information. Taking payment for classes or products. Cleaning facility throughout the day and after every class. Responding to visitors' inquiries in a friendly, timely manner. Work with other staff members to ensure that all visitors are able to participate as needed. Rotating merchandize on a regular basis. Laundry as needed. Days/Hours : Somewhat flexible. 20 – 25 hours per week available This job is ideal for someone who is : Customer service oriented and appreciates direct interactions with our guests. Dependable and reliable in relation to their work schedule and work duties. Adaptable and flexible to a dynamic workplace that is structured but also evolving. Goal oriented and appreciates and responds well to working towards specific results. Self-managed and self-aware once provided goals and objectives.
