JOB SUMMARY : Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as a first point of contact for visitors as well as an essential information hub for our organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets and directs walk-in and telephone visitors to appropriate MOFC areas or meeting rooms and provides non-MOFC organizations with assistance while on premises Sorts and delivers MOFC mail; accepts carrier deliveries and coordinates couriers Processes financial transactions for sales, agency payments, and donations by providing receipts, cash payments, credit card payments, and/or check payments Assists with office supply inventory and requests and places orders as needed Assists with Volunteer Services recognition and appreciation efforts Supports volunteer check-in as needed Announces MOFC news, events, and tours Conducts MOFC tours Maintains and distributes the employee phone directory Participates in special projects as necessary QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Certifications: High -School Diploma or GED required. Experience: One year of receptionist experience to include use of a multi-line phone system. Experience in interacting with the public. Non-Profit Experience preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft office products. Skills/Competencies: Effective communication skills (verbal and written); must be organized and able to provide exceptional customer service. Comfortable learning and using new computer platforms. JOB CONDITIONS : Normal office environment.
