As a Front Desk Agent , you will be the guests' first point of connection as they enter the hotel. Throughout their stay, you will have the opportunity to build lasting impressions that we hope will result in guest loyalty. You can achieve this by handling all questions, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously. With your outgoing personality and ability to connect with others we rely on you to create memorable guest experiences with each guest. Whatever the reason for their stay is, you play a key role in exceeding their expectations. Going above & beyond is what is going to set us apart from our competitors. Responsibilities include but not limited to : Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments professionally and courteously. Checking guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary accounts. Learn the property systems and be able to navigate the system quickly and efficiently including running reports and distribute accordingly. Follow and process proper cash/check/credit card/AR control procedures always using proper guidelines and security. Maintain responsibility and proper security over cash and deposits at all time Follow requests by Sales Department for up-selling, marketing packages, etc. Answering the telephone and e-mails in a timely & professional manner. We want our guests to hear/read your smile. Calls must be answered by the third ring. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. T he Breakfast Attendant sets up the dining area for daily meals. You must have excellent English communication skills to great and focus on our guests. Ensures side work is complete before meal service and prior to leaving for the day. Ensures food is of proper quality. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all work surface areas, food service areas, coolers, tables, counters, chairs, and floor. Job purpose: Handling the setup and breakdown of the breakfast area, maintaining the dining area, ensuring food is available and providing any additional guest services . Responsibilities include but not limited to: Make each meal a feast for the eyes and a treat for the taste buds. With your signature flare, you'll turn our high Standards into memorable meals for every guest Cook and set up the morning breakfast if needed. Own your kitchen keep on top of supplies and equipment and minimize waste. Keep the breakfast bar clean and fully stocked at all times. Tell your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents. Help create a safe space by following safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment. Check fridges daily and ensure they maintain correct temperatures Be cleaner than clean meet or exceed local cleanliness, food guidelines, and hygiene laws. Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed Always interact with the guests during operating hours with a warm and friendly demeanor. Wear your uniform with pride. Vacuum, sweep and mop work areas as needed Complete the daily checklist. Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together. Requirements: High school education or equivalent experience. Hotel Experience: min. 2 years Food Experience: min. 2 years Two or more years experience in a guest service environment Professional in presentation and demeanor Enjoy working with a team Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a busy environment Ability to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Ability to cross-train in other hotel related areas Must show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
