Your role will be the perfect blend of healthcare educator and fashion consultant. We need a dedicated team member to provide our patients with a 5-star experience. This position offers stability, growth, and WEEKENDS OFF with flexibility as either a full or part-time team member! If these sound like you, please apply! - You’re confident in making recommendations and you connect with people quickly and easily. -You’re a natural problem solver, and you get pumped to work your magic when you hear things like, “Can you adjust my frames to make them more comfortable” or “I want to see better with my new glasses.” - You are comfortable with technology and open to learning new applications and software, you’ll harness the tools around you to make your job as easy or effortless as possible. - Strong written and oral communication skills are a MUST, while being able to maintain a caring and professional demeanor. - You’re known for doing what you say you’re going to do; your reputation for honesty and integrity is legendary. - You love to see other people happy and thriving, and you’ll do whatever you can to help them get there. No Experience Needed Prior medical office or eyecare experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! Some of your duties will include: - Helping people pick out frames that suit them based on the shape of their face, bridge fit, lifestyle, and prescription - Determining the best lens types, materials, coatings, and brands for patients’ lifestyles. For example, a child who plays basketball will need something different from someone who works on a computer all day - Educating first-timers on how to use and take care of their glasses and contacts - Troubleshooting prescription issues, miscellaneous repairs and refining products for a more accurate result - Taking accurate measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions(using precision and accuracy much like a tailor when making a custom suit) - Using our state-of-the-art lens edger to shape prescription lenses and then inserting them into frames - Checking new glasses for fit and making adjustments - Billing insurance, reviewing patient benefit coverage - Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth If you want a career where you help the people in your community have better lives, this is the job for you.
