This job opportunity in IF will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group which is responsible for the portions of the system foundry that brings the best of Intel technologies to IF customers, differentiating and accelerating their solutions from architecture to post-silicon validation. The Customer Engineering Lead in Foundry Services: Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drives solution design ensuring time-to-market readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness. Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production. Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance. Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral. Collaborates and enables internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products in the market. Partners with customers, research and development teams and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer Design For Test and Manufacturing requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, delivering product training, and providing health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Customer orientation and service mindset. This trait is essential in this key customer facing role for Intel Foundry. Highly organized, skilled interpersonal at communication and strong team player. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well is good written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly synthesize complex information, lead in-depth technical discussions and deliver results. Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other relevant STEM related field of study and 5+ years' experience OR Masters degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other relevant STEM related field of study and 3+ years' experience OR ad Ph.d in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other relevant STEM related field of study and 1+ year of experience. This role will leverage a broad cross-domain technical background, some desired areas of expertise include 3+ years of experience across one or more: Process Design Kits (PDK), EDA tools, flows and methodologies. Physical Design Implementation of ASIC, SOC and/or IP design . Verification and Signoff flows (static timing analysis, reliability verification, and physical verification). Manufacturing, packaging, and product test. Foundry experience as direct customer technical interface is a plus. How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other relevant STEM related field of study and 9+ years' experience OR Masters degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other relevant STEM related field of study and 7+ years' experience. This role will leverage a broad cross-domain technical background, some desired areas of expertise include 7+ years' experience in: Experience in device physics, manufacturing design rules, CMOS processes. Experience in custom and standard cell layout. Experience in SOC/ASIC/IP Test Chip tape-outs. Experience in Physical Design/Integration execution of SOCs/ASICs/IPs Experience in Timing Analysis (STA), Reliability Verification (EM, IR, ESD), Physical verification.
