As a Foster Care Social Worker, your compassion and empathy guide and support families through the foster care process, promoting healing, growth, and positive outcomes for all. You work with children, their foster families, and their biological families to administer our program and diligently document your progress.You make notes about your visits and determine what the best outcome for each child is. Whether you help bio families reunite with their children or find appropriate adoptive parents for the child, you take pride in helping every client build a happier, brighter future. WHO ARE WE? We're looking for someone who can work Monday - Friday and take on an after-hours emergency on-call rotation. Here are the minimum qualifications: 21+ years old Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or another human services field 2+ years of professional foster care or out-of-home-care experience OR a master's degree in social work, education, or a related field DCFS licensure OR ability to obtain a license Willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Do you think you're the right one for the job?
