We currently have a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator position available. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSFollow all safety policiesLoading and unloading goods from trailersMoving goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility Provide raw stock to production machinesPerform daily equipment checks on Forklifts per OSHA guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned.Note: Management reserves the right to assign or reassign functions and responsibilities to this job description at any time. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Prior forlift experience in a manufaturing settingAbility to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient mannerWORK ENVIROMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.The noise level in the work environment is loud.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
