Job description Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a Forklift Driver/Shipping Clerk on 1st Shift. Pay: Starting at $17/hr. and up, based on experience Hours: 7am to 3:30pm Summary of Position: Responsible for ensuring the proficient and safe use of the forklift in lifting, moving, and packing of products. Key Responsibilities: Load, unload, move, and pack materials. Inspect products to be moved for accuracy, and safely. Load and offload materials onto and off pallets skids, and vehicles. Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are secure. Ensure that products are safely moved to designated areas. Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures. Personally check all quality descriptions of the merchandize to be moved. Ensure that the products are properly stacked. Carry out regular check and maintenance on the forklift. Stack and empty inbound shipments. Recognize and report mechanical and electrical flaws to the Shipping Supervisor. Move item from the stockroom to different units inside the organization either utilizing the forklift or by hand. Checks that Job Travelers are stamped and filled out accurately and completely. Pulls boxes and packages for shipment. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Shipping Supervisor. Required Qualifications: High school diploma/general education degree (GED); and/or three to six years related experience or training preferred. Must have knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material handling experience including experience operating a forklift. Must pass Dynacast forklift training course and driving test. Basic computer ability is required. Minimum of 5 years forklift experience required; must be forklift certified. Physical Requirements: Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to: 10 lbs. constantly; 35 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally. Sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing, bending, and stooping frequently. Hearing protection recommended.
