Food Service Worker - minimally starting at $14.00/hr!! ** Perfect after school hours of 4pm - 8pm ** Masonic Villages at Sewickley is hiring a Food Service Worker . This is a Part Time position with day and evening hours i ncluding some weekends. Our Mission: At Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania , our mission is simple; it is a Mission of Love . As a Food Service Worker, you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed in accordance with established dietary policy and procedure. Provides the highest quality of food and service to the Residents at Nursing Health Care Center & Star Points. Our Food Service Worker are responsible for the following: Operate the dish machine, checking gauges to assure proper temperatures-Take test strip and record temperatures. Fill sanitizer buckets, test and record. Does proper cleaning, sanitizing and storing of dishware and cookware, ensuring all clean items are stored properly. Responsible for all dish room temperature sheets, dish machine log and sanitizer log is completed. Helps the Cook serve the Personal Care Residents in accordance with established portion control procedures using proper serving utensils and gloves. Complete daily cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for cleaning all areas used during shift. Clean and sanitize all food utility/transportation carts after each use. Sweep & mop all storage areas. Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazards. Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the dietary supervisor/director immediately. Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Responsible for labeling and dating of items and ensuring all items are covered. Tuesday and Fridays put Chemical & Paper products away from deliveries Does the nourishment labels and makes sure they in accordance with diet and within appropriate times in the produce cooler for the next day service. Participate in the orientation of new staff by being observant and offering suggestions to make the learning process easier. Inform management if necessary. Assure that all dietary policies and procedures are followed. Direct all concerns to Supervisor/Manager. What You Definitely Have: A minimum of grammar school education.
