As a pivotal member to this team, you will prepare the meals that sustain our residents! Are you ready to get started? Southbridge Care Homes is currently looking to expand our Food Services department at both our Kemptville, ON locations. We are looking for a Food Services Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Food Services Supervisor is responsible for managing and handling all the operations of the food service department and ensures to satisfy the nutritional needs of our beloved residents and will be responsible to handle inventory, budget and team operations of the location. You will be accountable for… Provide amazing dietary services to the residents of the home by planning, organizing and executing the tasks in the proper timely manner. Maintain proper quality standards by examining dietary requirements, food production operations ensuring excellent services provided as per the legislative requirements. Encourage teamwork, and assist in collaborating team operations by motivating, encouraging and training coworkers and staff. Handle audit of the kitchen standards ensuring meeting public health requirements. Maintain proper records of the inventory, menu management ensuring meeting policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Build and maintain rapport with residents, families, staff and other stakeholders to regulate workplace operations smoothly. Assist management by contributing in preparing budget including departmental budget. Other duties as required. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: Post-secondary.
