Compensation: Competitive Salary based on experience Full-Time Hours: 8 am to 4 pm Verrazano Nursing and Post-Acute Center is a healthcare company located in Staten Island, NY. We provide skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to our residents, with an emphasis on compassionate care and personalized attention. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Food Service Director to oversee the food service operations at our facility. This is an on-site position at our Staten Island location. The Food Service Director will be responsible for managing a team of food service staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, implementing budgeting and cost control measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Experience in Food Service and Food Preparation Experience in P&L Management and Budgeting Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage industry trends and regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively with other departments Experience in healthcare industry and/or long-term care is a plus We are looking for a candidate who can bring innovative ideas to our food service operations, while maintaining the highest standards for quality, safety, and cost control. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team effectively, communicate clearly with other departments, and ensure that our residents receive nutritious and satisfying meals.
