This Food Safety Intern will have the opportunity to work with the food safety director and the plant team to conduct trials on cutting edge food safety technology; analyze data and present results to FEX Senior Leadership. Required Skills: Must be detail-oriented and organized. Must have good problem-solving skills. Have good verbal and written communication skills to explain results to others. Able to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Capable of working in refrigerated environments. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary and must be able to dedicate 40 hours a week to this position. Required Education: Pursuing B.S. degree and studying a scientific discipline linked to Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Agriculture, or candidates with educational background of food laws or regulatory compliance.
