In order to support growth, not just in the volume of our workload but also critically in the breadth of the services that our client offers, we are looking to recruit an experienced Flood Risk / Drainage engineer with a client focussed and ‘can do’ attitude. In order to support growth, not just in the volume of our workload but also critically in the breadth of the services that our client offers, we are looking to recruit an experienced Flood Risk / Drainage engineer with a client focussed and ‘can do’ attitude. The candidate will have experience and expertise in the provision of Flood Risk backssments, drainage strategies and design, hydraulic modelling would be a benefit but not essential, and the ability to technically lead, manage and deliver the flood risk and drainage aspects of development related projects. The role will also involve developing and winning new work both organically within the existing business and externally from new clients. What you need to succeed: • Flood risk management experience, including the use of Win DES/Micro Drainage software and CAD; • Experience of technically leading and managing projects; • Preparation/design of Drainage Strategies to support both outline and detailed planning applications; • Project management and work winning experience• Client Facing, proposal writing and report reviewing/approval experience.
