Flexographic Operator - 2nd Shift

SATO America -Charlotte, NC is seeking highly motivated, career focused, printing Press Operator. As a Press operator, you will be responsible for performing complex printing jobs, including "make-ready" for each job, working from copy card specifications, change plates, cylinders and die chases on narrow web tag and label presses. Additionally, you will be responsible to perform routine machine maintenance, maintain quality standards facilitating quick turn times and achieve production goals. Qualified candidates will possess : 3-5 years flexographic press experience Preference Mark Andy P5 series experience Good mechanical ability Superior trouble shooting skills Quick learning aptitude Strong math skills (measurements, percentages, figure footage, etc.) Visual color comprehension Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: Contact with moving mechanical systems. Noise level may be loud and hearing protection may be recommended or required. Eye protection may be recommended or required. Contact with certain chemicals may occur. PPE, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided. Schedule: 2nd Shift Schedule: 4 days, 10 hour shift - 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM Overtime Fridays 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
