Plan B Advantage of Long Beach, CA is seeking to hire multiple Delivery Drivers to deliver packages to businesses, homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations within a 5 mile radius of our new Amazon delivery station in Torrance . Multiple full-time and part-time positions are available . Our Delivery Drivers earn a competitive wage of $20 to $20.50 per hour that is paid weekly and an employee reward and recognition that gives our drivers free gift cards that they can redeem at any time! A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DELIVERY DRIVER As a successful Delivery Driver for Plan B Advantage, you will enjoy being on the road as you deliver 15-30 packages per hour in a timely and safe manner. Each day you will hop into one of our branded Amazon vehicles and deliver to both residential and commercial customers. You use handheld technology as you deliver customer packages, manage the delivery progress, and solve issues to ensure that deliveries are made to the correct location on-time, every time. Your positive, service-oriented attitude and professional demeanor help each of our customers feel valued. As a member of a self-managed team, you use your strong communication and time-management skills to thrive and lead the team when assigned to ensure that we exceed customer expectations. You will do all of this while following best practices and meeting our safety and quality standards both on and off the road. QUALIFICATIONS At least 21 years old Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to work at least 2 weekends per month Ability to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Previous experience as an independent Amazon Flex driver, some college is a plus! No experience? No problem, we will train the right person! Are you reliable and organized? Do you have great attention to detail? Are you self-motivated and able to solve problems independently? Do you have outstanding communication skills? Do you enjoy driving and meeting new people? If so, you may be perfect for this delivery driving position! WORK SCHEDULE Our delivery drivers have flexible schedules and can be scheduled to work on any day during the week. Your schedule will vary week to week, and we will take into account your other scheduled obligations and activities.
