Make a difference as a Fire and Safety Compliance Coordinator As the Fire and Safety Compliance Coordinator at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a crucial role in managing our organization's fire and safety procedures to maintain compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and implementation of the Emergency Preparedness Plan, working closely with the Facilities Director and Safety Committee. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our safety protocols and lead the training of staff to ensure they are well-equipped to handle emergency situations effectively.Join our team and make a meaningful impact by helping to create a safe and secure environment for our community. Are you the Fire and Safety Compliance Coordinator we're looking for? To excel as a Fire and Safety Compliance Coordinator at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, candidates must possess strong qualifications in the field. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Occupational Safety, Human Services, or a related field is required, or a High School Diploma with at least one year of experience in a role focused on Fire and Safety Compliance and Risk Management. Essential skills include expertise in Emergency Preparedness, familiarity with Life Safety Codes, Fire Prevention measures, Risk Management principles, and knowledge of OSHA regulations.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to safety compliance, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with various team members to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
