Description:
This position contributes to the success of manufacturing by directing the finishing department to meet production demands while achieving the highest standards. The Finishing Manager is responsible for implementing departmental objectives through achievable tasks at the execution level. Additionally, this position is responsible for pay reviews, performance evaluations, and providing daily reports to CEO. Responsibilities Applies knowledge of processes, equipment and system capability to set individual and facility standards Coaches and develops leads to achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line efficiency and quality Manages painters and sanders to produce quality products according to specifications Tracks key performance indicators to achieve production targets Oversees facility equipment efficiency and reliability to minimize downtime Ensures compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety regulations Leads and Promotes Continuous Improvement initiatives Establishes and promotes a safe work environment Capacity for overseeing a combination of 100 direct and indirect reports Apply Root Cause Corrective Action principles when solving problems Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or related field 4-6 years experience with solvent based finish process preferred At least 2 years of supervisory experience Previous experience in quality, safety, maintenance, and production Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience preferred Equal Opportunity EmployerWe believe in the value of your unique identity, background, and experiences.
