A growing business operating in the construction sector is looking to add a Financial Controller to their team. Whilst working as part of a small finance function you will ensure the provision of providing quality and timely management information to pillar management and group finance function. The role in more detail will include: : Oversee month end procedures in an accurate and timely manner, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation : Coordinate and support contract budgeting and forecasting : Ensure full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance : Assist in the coordination and completion of audit requirements : Support Tenders and Business plans when required : Involvement in introduction of new ERP / IT systems and ensuring the correct IT set: up of new projects and employees : Overhead reporting : Payroll and Pension support The successful applicant will be fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA) with all round accounting experience, whilst demonstrating a strong commercial and technical awareness. You will be a team player and able to work on your own initiative, whilst possessing strong IT skills including a high degree of Microsoft Excel competence.
