We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Case Worker, the primary focus of which is to connect with patients that are identified as not having health/dental insurance or coverage for the services received at the clinic to relieve financial burden of the patients, but also support the financial sustainability of the company. Job Summary The Financial Case Worker supports the revenue cycle by verifying and searching for insurance eligibility and works closely with billing by continuously monitoring insurance eligibility and identifying claims that can be reprocessed as insurances are found. The role also works closely with collection functions to assist patients with payment options and understanding their charges. The position works independently on assigned workload but must work closely with other internal departments to identify eligibility options or claims issues. Qualifications Degree in healthcare (preferred) Previous insurance eligibility experience (preferred) Previous experience submitting NDMA applications highly beneficial Healthcare knowledge and experience (desired) Licensure N/A Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm This role may be required to work in other locations.
