Financial Analyst or Cost Accountant to assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, analysis, and related projects. In this role you will be working closely with the CFO and management preparing forecasts and budgets and variance analysis.This position may assist with monthly reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value or advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions.The Candidate should have/be-At least 5 years of financial analysis or management accounting experience-BA/BS degree in accounting or finance-Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills-Strong systems background-Experience with Budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel-Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results-Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process-Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors-Able to work independently-A self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines-Detail oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reportsBeneficial skills include:-Access or other data base experience-Cost analysis/Cost Accounting-Sage-DataRails or similar excel centric data base system-Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment backgroundA quality compensation and benefits package will be commensurate with experience.This is an opportunity to join a growing company with a great reputation and knowledgeable workforce
