Job Summary: Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Financial Analyst in Crystal City, VA or Remote. Job Responsibilities: Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure organizational performance. Assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget. Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending. Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders. Manage finances across multiple funding types. Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries. Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements. Interpret and apply financial management principles. Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations, and organizational strategic goals. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree is preferred. 7 years of experience required; 10 years of experience is preferred. Experience with Navy ERP, MSIL and NEPS is preferred. Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team. Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills Possess good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Able to obtain and retain a security clearance. ADA SPECIFICATIONS: Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required. Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Travel: Less than 5% expected All applicants selected will be subject to a background investigation.
