Financial Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis

Description:
Prepare and assist in the consolidation and analysis of the Latin America results, including analysis of P&L-related metrics, as well as coordinating with both local and regional finance/ business partners to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner. Collects, analyzes, and manages large data sets of qualitative data from various system applications and assists in the development of meaningful reports. Actively participate in providing financial support and analyses including strategic planning, business planning & forecasting to regional and global management. Serve as liaison with countries and help coordinate a common message to regional management. Assists with financial results presentations to senior leadership teams periodically as requested by the manager. Prepare presentations and lead meetings for various closing, quarterly forecasts, and annual plan cycles. Be capable of leading or supporting efforts in developing key data mining capabilities, including the development of reporting platforms (such as TM1 or QlikView). Open to spending workday creating queries and reports once onboarded. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting) required; master's degree preferred. 3-4 years' experience in corporate Financial Planning Required fully Bilingual English / Spanish. Insurance industry experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs - advanced user of Excel & PowerPoint Prior experience or willingness to learn FP&A or portfolio management-related roles. A strong, business 'savvy' individual who has a desire to deliver complete and accurate business results (Actuals, Forecast, and Plan). Knowledge of TM1, QlikView, and PeopleSoft preferred.
