Job Description: Financial Accounting Coordinator Reports to: Financial Accounting Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Operations, Hereford, Texas Primary Responsibilities: Accounts Payable which includes set up of new vendors, approval verification, properly coding invoices and submitting batches to accounts payable for processing. Manage the parked and blocked invoices as a result of processing errors. Perform all aspects of payroll processing for hourly employees on weekly basis. Review AMEX P-Card usages which include accruing tax on purchases, tracking spending, and reporting and reclassifying expenses through Web-recon tool. Assist with accurate and timely reporting to factory management. Assist with annual factory budgeting. Routinely compare invoiced prices to contract prices. Performing factory audits as directed to ensure compliance to NPPC guidelines. Assist in month end close activities including accrual entries, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and other variance investigation as needed. Participate in personal training and development. Follow good manufacturing practices and work safely. Help with the management of the company store. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: AS or BS in accounting or equivalent ideal; HS Diploma or equivalent required. Skills: : Excellent computer skills and attention to detail required.
