Our software can run all aspects of an automotive dealership with sales, service, inventory management, and accounting modules. The Role: PBS is looking to hire a Financial Accountant that will be an integral part of our growing team. This role is responsible for working closely with the Business line to ensure financial statements accuracy, including both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, be able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and show strong leadership skills. This position is based in our Calgary Head Office and is NOT a remote or Hybrid opportunity. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare financial reports for leadership team, including monthly Operations Income Statements Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information. Advises departments on the collection and analysis of data and performs budget variance analysis Reconcile monthly customer, hardware and software inventory accounts Reconcile Fixed Asset Continuity schedules and assist with year-end tax schedules Identify and implement improvements to financial controls Identify opportunities for process improvement, and work with team to implement solutions.
