ABOUT THE ROLEThis position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for managing the daily accounting functions of the company. They will ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and oversee accounts payable, manage accounts receivable, cash receipt transactions and monthly close. This position will work closely and collaboratively across all functions to ensure ease of use of systems and development of policies and procedures. They will participate in the completion of annual audits and associated tax returns with external auditors, as well as, provide guidance and support to other departments on accounting & financial matters, including budgets. The Accounting Manager will also oversee accounts payable professional and provide guidance and support as needed. This position will work closely with all levels of the organization.ABOUT YOUYou will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and knowledge of GAAP for non-profits.- A minimum of five years accounting experience with three years of supervisory experience required. Experience working with 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 non-profit organizations is preferred.- Familiarity with CRM database software, Dynamics SL, Intacct, Pn3 software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.- A proven track-record of confidentiality.
