The Finance Assistant with be responsible for chasing debts from customers and reconciling payments. Main Responsibilities: Chasing debts from customers in an efficient manner, ensuring complete accuracy of invoices and payments. Operational payment processing work, including maintenance of supplier master data, checking and paying invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, and compilation of performance management statistics. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting and closing of accounts under the direction of the Accountant or Finance Manager Contribute to the improvement of processes and the development and effective performance of the team through evaluation and review of current practice. Candidate Criteria 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths or equivalent. Experience of working within a financial environment with the ability to learn new processes quickly. Experience of chasing debts is highly desirable. Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
