Field Technician - Field Inspector

We are seeking entry-level Field Technicians/Inspectors to join our growing team. You will learn to conduct thorough field inspections, complete field inspection reports, use field testing equipment, to assist, and be part of our engineering team. Our ideal applicant must be located in the United States, have a valid driving license with good driving record, be willing to travel, ability to work at heights, have some construction-related experience and be open to learning about Dixon Engineering's inspection techniques, safety standards, and construction methodology. Responsibilities:• Manage accurate and detailed field inspection reports, including photos, for project recordkeeping.• Work as part of a team to gather field information required by governing bodies.• Use testing instrumentation and devices to perform thorough field inspections• Ability to climb and work at heights• Ability to travel overnights• Conform to safe working practices. Qualifications: • Requires a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record• Some college or technical education in the area of engineering, building inspection technology, construction management, or construction technology is valuable, but a high school diploma is required• Ability to pass a physical examination• Willing to climb and work at heights• Willing to travel overnight• Work as a member of a team• Have some mechanical knowledge• Perform quality work• Strong communication and documentation skills• Basic computer skills• Positive attitude• Strong work ethic• Ability to resolve conflict• Organized and punctual• Ability to demonstrate safe working habits• Ability to pass a background check• Possess a clean driving record Compensation: $20 - $26 hourly About Company: Dixon Engineering Inc. is a consulting engineering firm that provides engineering and inspection services for the coating industry.
