With a fully fitted workshop and experienced staff, the company provides professional technical advice, callout, repair and sales service to businesses and individuals. Due to further growth, the company is looking to recruit an experienced Gym Equipment Field Service Engineer to join their team. Working from our Leicestershire base, the role is to attend sites and carry out service and repairs of both commercial and home fitness products in accordance with customer requirements. The Field Service Engineer will undertake all aspects of repair or planned preventative maintenance in accordance with Health and Safety requirements. Role and responsibilities You will be required to visit the company base to collect necessary parts. You will travel throughout the UK to complete work. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to; To carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs to our client’s commercial and retail products in accordance with agreed Service Levels and Health and Safety requirements. To service equipment ensuring that customer equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose. To utilise effective time management skills by maintaining the most economical route for your journeys. To be responsible for the resources, tools and replacement parts to effectively complete the necessary task and repairs. To accurately close down jobs using the company software/app to provide repair data, serial numbers and parts used in a timely manner to enable effective follow up.
