Field Sales Supervisor - Los Angeles/Orange County, CA

Description:
Purpose:Effectively supervise Field Sales Representatives to ensure the customer has the right products at the right time in the right placement.Essential Functions:Daily coordination of resources to support customer and sales projectsCommunicate daily with direct reports, tracking sales progress and projectsTrain and recruit RepresentativesReport observed trends and potential sales and or credit opportunitiesManages costs and expenses to align with budgetConduct and coordinate store audits to assist sales with determining opportunities and identifying possible gapsCoordinate the execution of plan-o-grams as implemented by the Account Manager or customerRespond to customer issues or complaints quickly and efficientlyWork with store management to achieve maximum service quality and service levelsProvide reports and updates to Manager on customer specific projects or issuesCommunicate with Manager and Account Manager to maintain customer satisfaction and achievement of goalsParticipate in customer presentations, meetings and shows. Cross-train with other departments to better understand rolesCreate a culture of service, integrity, and support within the Field Sales departmentAttends sales meetings as requiredTravel in the assigned area including overnights is required and occasional out of area meetingsPerforms other relevant job duties as requiredJob Requirements:Education/ Certifications:Associate degree in related field or equivalent training and experienceAuto insurance levels that meet state requirementsValid driver's license necessaryExperience:Three (3) to five (5) years industry related experienceSystem Implementation preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong knowledge of store layouts, plan-o-grams, customer service, and trendsExcellent customer service skillsGood communication skillsTime management skills and attention to detailSolid computer skills, and the ability to use Microsoft office softwarePhysical Environment/Demands:Ability to get in and out of car multiple times per dayDrive to and from accounts safely in city, rural and expressway conditionsAbility to set up displays, fixtures, shelving and productsAble to tolerate exposure to store and warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperature, dust, and dirtAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by the employees assigned to this job.
