Field Enumerator- North Central Washington

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is hiring part-time field enumerators to conduct surveys with farmers and ranchers in our area.This job is great for a self-starter, someone who can manage their own time and workload and be flexible. Surveys are conducted by phone and in-person, although current COVID restrictions limit face-to-face contacts.Good people skills and a friendly attitude will be more successful. Prior experience in telemarketing or US Census work is helpful. Working area is mostly in Chelan County.For in-person surveys, a good driving record and dependable auto are a must. You will be required to attend workshops for different surveys from time to time. Travel time, accommodations and milage are paid if attending.Most surveys are voluntary for the operator. You are not selling anything, but rejection is a part of this job. Work assignments may be intermittent and not always available. We are looking for people that are able to work when we need them. Valid Driver's License required. Good people skills, friendly, pleasant to be around and a positive attitude even when rejected is a must.
